GERALDTON FISHERMEN'S CO-OP
Established in 1950, Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-operative is 100 per cent owned by fishermen and license holders supplying the Co-operative and is operated for the benefit of members and the communities in which they operate.
Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-op specialises in the processing and marketing of Western Rock Lobster. The Co-op is the world’s largest rock lobster processor and is a significant contributor to the Western Australian economy. Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-op supports fishermen, employees, licence holders and their family members along a thousand kilometres of WA’s coastline.
Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-op members have a direct stake in the financial success of the company and a deep pride in the quality of Brolos Australian Lobster products, motivating them to catch and produce the best rock lobster product possible.
COMMUNITY
At Geraldton Fishermen’s Co-op, we are committed to building a strong and supportive community within and beyond our Co-operative. We encourage and facilitate the active involvement and empowerment of our members and team, providing them with training, education, and resources.
We also care about our community, using environmentally friendly products and practices, supporting local businesses and organisations. We work closely with local stakeholders to understand their needs, aspirations, and challenges comprehensively. By building meaningful relationships we can contribute to projects and initiatives that have a tangible impact on the whole community.
